Mehrere Quellen berichten übereinstimmend von einer neuen Hardwaregeneration, Veröffentlichung wohl parallel zum Pixel 8 Noch dieses Jahr soll die Pixel Watch 2 veröffentlicht werden, das berichtet 9to5Google in Berufung auf eine mit der Entwicklung vertraute Quelle. Eine umgehende Bestätigung gab es vom bekannten Leaker Jon Prosser, der anfügt, dass Google derzeit sogar an zwei Smartwatches arbeitet. Die zweite sei aber ganz auf Kinder ausgerichtet und dürfte unter der Fitbit-Marke erscheinen.
