 In einer Videobotschaft lässt "God of War"-Mastermind Cory Barlog wissen, warum es zuletzt ruhig um das Projekt geworden ist In einer Videobotschaft richtete der Mann hinter dem Franchise, Cory Barlog, nun einige Worte an die Fans. Es sei ihm klar, dass der "Elefant im Raum" angesprochen werden müsse: God of War Ragnarök, das vor mittlerweile zwei Jahren angekündigt worden ist. Man arbeite hart an den verschiedensten Aspekten des Spiels, schließlich würde man sich selbst als "Perfektionisten" betrachten. Barlog würde sich wünschen, "wir könnten es mit euch teilen, aber es ist einfach noch nicht bereit, präsentiert zu werden".
